Media Links selects Maredi as South African Partner
Milford, CT – 26 October 2007-Media Links, a leading provider of high-definition video transport solutions, announced today that it has signed a deal with Maredi Telecom & Broadcasting for it to represent the company as it further expands its business in South Africa. Maredi will supply Media Links’ entire product portfolio.
Media Links believes that its technology will be of particular benefit to the country and its backbone broadcast infrastructure as the nation continues to prepare for the 2010 FIFA™ World Cup. Recently, the South African government awarded Johannesburg the right to host the International Broadcast Centre for the event. This will be the media nerve centre from which international broadcasters can receive transmissions from across the country during the tournament.
